From a waiata composed by our kuia Rangimarie Hetet (1892-1995)urging her mokopuna to uphold the traditional arts left by our ancestors,for the good of the people of Aotearoa.

Our Moemoea

That every whānau Māori has the traditional arts of our people within their whare; and the mātauranga to create and pass on these traditions to their tamariki and mokopuna.

To this end we are committed to providing teaching excellence in the arts of raranga, taaniko and whatu kākahu through our online kura: the Hetet School of Māori Art
